- A white Appalachian Trail (AT) marker can be seen on the large boulder near the center of the picture. These markers, known as trail "blazes", help guide both the experienced and novice climbers.

- Also in abundance besides the numerous boulders are the thousands upon thousands of trees which make up the thick forest of Baxter State Park.
